Book Week 2018 – Our Favourite Books

Book Week 2018 is happening in Australia this month (August 20th – 24th) and children everywhere will be dressing up as their favourite book characters or following the 2018 theme – Find Your Treasure. I have always loved reading from a young age and I am hoping to pass my love of reading on to my child. So far so good! My Breastfeeding Story

Letter Tracing Activities

I have spent many years working within childcare centres and OSHC services but this is the first year I have spent working on a regular contract with the 3 – 5 year old age group. At the Early Learning Centre that I have been working for, I have noticed that the majority of parents have requested that their children learn to write their own names. I’m assuming, given the age group, that this is because they want them to be able to learn this in time for school and kindergarten.
